Need help!

I have just reinstalled ET and then updated to the latest version (1.2, i think) and copied my collection of maps (of a CD) to ET main, installed ET pro (via game server download) and updated PB (by going to PB website and saving the htm doc to PB folder)...

I am STILL getting massive lag spikes in game (its not my connection and I have no other apps running, my puter is easily fast enough to run ET).

I need to know if there is something I need to change in game or if I need to run something or do something to get rid of these spikes.

What is the pb update command in console and is there a lagometer for ET?

Any help and suggestions appreciated

think a lot of it is packet loss and i have been experiencing it too, dunno wot can b done regarding bout it tho, it happens every couple of months or so and think its to do with the route, seems to settle down as quick as it starts

Hi Roan man long time no smell

Have to give up Call of Duty for a bit... I'm in the middle of changing career, ET keeps me occupied, but COD keeps me addicted (I also had clan commitments and matches, so if I was giving up the clan, only fair I give up COD altogether)

Also ensure that your Connection is set to ADSL and not 56k. This sometimes gives problems like you've described.

I'm afraid I am still having trouble with connection...

The lagometer is showing the lag in the top section as a massive yellow block?

What does that mean??

What are the optimum settings for ET pro?

What is ET shrub and will that help?

What is the meaning of life?

Whats the crack with these "girls" things and why do they bleed from their rude bits every month?

try and look in 2 parameters...
1. if u r using a CFG script file...make sure that your max_packets are
at the same value as your max_fps.
2. go to et_pro settings...u got 3 options regarding a lag problem..
try all 3 and see if u can sort it from there.

o..just remembered another thingy...if u are using a CFG script...punch
this line in :seta r_ignoreGLErrors "1"
