My personal opinion would be to remove village because that map is just plain sucky. Not sure what maps could be put on as its been a while since I have seen a good custom map. Still think provence 2 kicked ass but guess most people didnt agree.

Yup, quite agree with you there. Having too many custom maps, means a lot of downloading for newcomers, which can put them off. A server I've been playing on ever since I wasn't able to join FuN's anymore, has a mix of a couple of stock maps with a couple of custom maps (which they put in a mappack btw), which means that every now and then you have a 30ish mb download, but a very nice variety of cool custom maps combined with the more popular stock maps.:ExpL!c!T wrote:Personal opinion: Please dont add a bunch of custom maps. So many servers go overkill on custom maps and just put people off the game. Most people play the game still for the standard maps and im sure a good chunk of [Fun] players are like this. Always good to play maps you know. Maybe have 5-6 customs and at the end of each month take off 1 or 2 of the least popular and replace them. Good TDM/DM maps are hard to find, most seem to be built for s&d more than any other gametype.
